Press Release Miracles Of Hope Network Prom Project Katrina I Hope You Dance 2007

Miracles Of Hope Network Prom Project
    I Hope You Dance 2007

This years prom effort began with a mention in the New York City magazine Teen Trends.

Through the help of many we were once again able to ship gowns and formal wear to the
lives changed by Katrina.   So many students were in need this year again and we knew that the
help would be needed just as much this year as last year.
With so much devastation recovery will be for years to come.  Help continues to be needed.

We were deeply touched once again by the outpouring of hope. This year we had the incredible
help of Becca's Closet ( www.beccascloset.org) Pam Kirtman, as well as
Planet Hope, Sharon and Kelly Stone's organization
    www.planethope.org).

We had many volunteer program directors on the ground to help with distribution
of the larger collections.  Rhonda Hunt and Donna Walker as well as virtual assistance with
Jenni Dodds, financial support of Janet Arp and Katrina's Angels.

The most beautiful gowns were sent along with perfume and jewelry.
These young women did feel the hope of a dream come true.

The students helped this year were so grateful that people took the time to care.
So many tears of joy were shed.
Prom is a very important step in the lives of teenagers and such an important bridge and memory to young adulthood, especially in the face of such a natural disaster.

There are many who continue to need our help.  Please consider a generous gift of hope.
In the many cases of lack that have requested our help,
funds do have the ability to create happiness.

With our eternal and continued gratitude to hope
