Greetings,
Welcome back to another installment from Juice Radio. Join us on Sunday, February 22nd at 6:00PM EST as we chit chat about “Men and the Nudie Bar” does frequent visitation to the “Nudie Bar” equal cheating or are women just too sensitive. This is going to be quite interesting!
I remember as a young girl, coming up the older women would always say “…men are visual” or “men like variety”. This always intrigued me, because I am “visual” too. I like attractive men, who are fit and good looking – but that is not the most important aspect of a man. Men, however, often times find the need to “act” on their need for new visual stimulation or variety of women.
I guess in the mind of a man, looking is not cheating. Surfing the internet for erotic websites, girlie magazines, nudie bars are justified because there is no physical intimacy, they do not want to pursue a relationship with these other women, they are just “looking”.
What, however, is crossing the line? What constitutes “cheating” or obsession? In my opinion, if a man has to go the the nudie bar every weekend, than I believe he probably has a problem with his own ego or the relationship. Perhaps he is dissatisfied with the physical appearance of his mate, or he needs outside stimulation to get “worked up” for his mate; or maybe he is just misogynistic, selfish idiot!! When the lines between his personal, fulfilling relationship and his fantasies with exotic dancers, are blurred, this is where the problem lies.
Men have been socialized to fulfill their sexual fantasies without facing backlash or stigma. Women, however, face that good ole’ double standard. Men can enjoy their fantasies of enjoying the sexual pleasures or stimulation from exotic dancers, online sex sites, magazines, and etc. and the still have a fulfilling life with a humble, obedient, “good-girl” mate.
Join the discussion, on Sunday February 22nd at 6:00PM EST, as we further explore this racy topic. BE THERE!!
Until than, be good and take care!
Peace & Blessings,

Juice Radio ain’t going no where!
Greetings, and welcome to this installment of Juice Radio. Join us on Sunday, February 15th 6:00PM as we chat with three fabulous ladies who are all about hair; Eddie, creator of “Sweet Nature” hair care products (http://www.fabulousblackwoman.ning.com), Miss Kelly T (http://www.youtube.com/klt828), hair care expert and Lakisha T, creator of “Etae” hair care products (http://www.etaeproducts.com/index.htm). We will be chit chatting about proper hair care for black women, how we feel about our hair and how we care for our hair. This will be a very informative show, so definitely be there!
When it comes to black women, hair is an important part of our identity. We have a special, unique relationship with our hair that set us apart from other races of women. Our hair has been attacked, scrutinzed, ridiculed, self loathed, embraced, envied, fried, dyed, lyed, straight, kinky, nappy and every thing else under the sun.
Whether you use chemical relaxers to straighten your hair or you keep it natural, it is important that we embrace our hair, love our hair and respect our hair – regardless of texture. Total care, should embrace the principles of total wellness. When I say total wellness, this includes nutrition, environmental factors (stress, work, relationships), mental wellness, physical wellness, proper conditioning of hair and not over processing hair.
Join us on Sunday, February 15th at 6:00PM, we will further explore black women’s relationship with hair, what is the best way to care for it, and how to embrace it!
Until than, be good and take care

Ah yea Ah yea!!! Juice Radio is back at it!
Welcome to yet another installment from Juice Radio. Join us on Sunday, February 8th at 6:00PM as we explore “Inside the Mind of a Man – How to Recognize a Playa and Avoid Game”! We will be chatting with Marcus Girard (aka Brother Marcus). Marcus Girard (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/brothermarcusshow) is a author, relationship expert, motivational speaker and youth advocate. Marcus will discussing how men feel about relationships, love, marriage and how to recognize a man who is “just not into you”.
So many women are lost when it comes to understanding men, how they think and behave. Lets face it, men are simple yet complex! In order to understand a man, a woman must think like one.Who better to teach a woman to think like a man, but a man.
Many women think if they sleep with a man, they are automatically in a relationship – NOT! Then there are women who think if they are are good in bed, you know give it to him like a p@rn star the man will be hooked – NOT! Or of course, the woman who jumps at the man’s every waking command, if the man say “jump” she is like “how high”!!! this definitely does not keep a man’s attention or attraction; unless he wants a personal servant.
Even though there are so many jerks, and loser men out there (trust me, I know I have dated some), there are plenty of decent, good spirited men who indeed want a fulfilling relationship. It is important for women to have knowledge of self, self love and realize that she is lovely in every way. We set the tone and standard for which a man will treat us, we have the power and once we learn how to effectively use the power, oh goodness, men will have no choice but to act accordingly.
Join Juice Radio on February 8, 2009 at 6:00PM as we dig deep into the mind of a man and see what men really think about. Until than, be good and take care!
