Greetings to you all! And welcome back to another Juice Radio Blog! Oh, the summer went by ever so quickly and the fall is almost upon us. And with that, Juice Radio is serving up something really good for September’s first show. “What Makes a Man Stray and What is the Definition of Cheating”, Join us September 4th at 7:30PM as we chat it up about this hot topic.
The eternal question, what makes a man stray? What makes a man want to leave a seemingly good relationship? Do some women make it easy for the “Clean Up Woman”? Well, from what I see, hear and have witnessed first hand is that men complain of a lack or decrease of sex and/or physical love. In today’s society women have so many roles; we are mom, wife, care giver, business woman, teacher, chef, doctor and so much more. So, at times woman are exhausted and find it a chore to engage in sex. Alas, making it an easy opening for the “Clean Up Woman” to come through and satisfy your man’s physical needs!
Now in some instances, a man may stray because he is bored with the relationship, he is tired with the routine and desires new excitement. His partner has lost her appeal and the spark is gone. I am definitely NOT dumping on the ladies, because some men are just selfish and are just out of control with their sex drive.
To reiterate, the biggest issue, however, is a lack of sex in a relationship that causes a man to stray. The old “bait and switch”, you know the sex is often, and wild and kinky…and then once you say the “I do’s” it slows down or is non existent.
Alas, the cheating begins and this is another topic in its self. We will explore what defines cheating!

Well, well, well Juice Radio – we are coming back at cha with yet another thought provoking, entertaining and yes, a topic that just won’t seem to go away with us colored folks – oh yes, I am talking about the issues we have with our HAIR!! It’s like we have a love/hate relationship with our, specifically black women! Join me (Miz D!) and my co host “Real Talk Now” on Thursday August 21st 7:30PM, as we explore Black people and their hair.
Nappy, kinky, curly, wavy, straight, long, short, “good hair” (oh I hate this term), silky, relaxed, pressed, weaved, braided, perm, blown-out, afro, locs…..oh the things we do to celebrate, change (and at time damage), reject and embrace our natural hair texture. I know personally, my hair has been through so many transformations, I mean I have been natural, I have been braided, I have been long and straight, I have been weaved up, I have been short, I have pressed my hair, relaxed my hair, cut it all off and been natural! I have had quite an adventure with my hair. I love my natural hair, I embrace its kinky texture and I love what I can do with my hair. Like most black women – it is my crown and glory, a reflection of who I am. But in my short life time, I have encountered more black people who have a negative, even a disdain for their natural texture hair, than those who love and embrace their hair.
Oh, and if I hear another person tell me about somebody having “good hair” I am gonna bust! Colored folks have yet to fully embrace all aspects of their black identity; we are so conditioned to believe that we must fit into the “White World”, the European look. We lack to see the beauty in our self and those who look like us.
What I also find a little disturbing is how the “Black Hair” industry is a multi million dollar industry, yet we buy our supplies from Asians? They have the industry on lock and we know this. Why is it we cannot control an industry that thrives off of our dollars?
