Do we really take time to think about the things we wish to accomplish? Feels like our efforts don’t match our ambitions. Maybe we need to believe more in the man upstairs; have faith and then, only then our goals will be easier to reach.

I recently went through an experience that opened my eyes to sacrifices I need to make in my life. I went to see a private movie screening at a church. My thoughts were “cool”, until I arrived and realized I was at Temple. Okay! It’s not what you think I don’t discriminate. Even though I’m Catholic we have the same beliefs. There is only one Jesus!

Well the film was impactful in the sense that it showed me if you really believe in something you have to sacrifice everything to achieve it. I realized for a long time I been carrying so much negativity, when I should have believed in Jesus and let my faith in him guide me. After the screening the pastor of the church gave a short touching speech that made me feel like he was speaking to me. No, he wasn’t trying to convert me from my Catholic beliefs, instead just send a message to everyone that attended. Basically, he wanted to remind us of Jesus sacrificing himself for us. I was still kind of sluggish at the screening, but by the time I left it was all gone. Such a good feeling, my heart, body and mind was at peace. So you see even going to Temple was a sacrifice, and what I received in return was priceless. Everyone is creative in their own way, but we must keep our faith and believe in Jesus in order to reach our goals, and get ahead in life.
