Imagine There's No Satan

Hosted by the Author of one of the years most controversial book, James R. Brayshaw, is a Canadian firefighter who has poured some cold water on the fire of Hell. As the author of Satan Christianity's Other God, James and his guests explore territory that angels have feared to tread. This show looks at the idea of a Satan and Hell.....Is Satan real? Did God create Satan or is he a construct of man's religions? Should we ask the questions about Satan that chidren ask without getting answers? How can God allow Satan to exist? Can Satan hurt us? Why doesn't God destroy Satan? How can a loving Creator torture dead souls in Hell for eternity? If Satan exists isn't he a God? Don't miss the compelling discussions on topics that religion has been slow to address and weak at finding sensible answers to. No topic is too difficult or too offensive and Brayshaw will fearlessly entertain and inform the listener on a host of challenging theological issues.

Show Notes

This is not just a show about Satan. You might be surprised to find that the God of the Bible is not the patsy of Christianity. A patsy who lets a cosmic Satan harm the children of creation. If you have ever questioned the existence of Satan you are not alone. The debate over the existence of God has gone on for centuries, but why don't we find out if Satan exists? This show, hosted by author and Firefighter James R.Brayshaw (Satan Christianity's Other God), is sure to get your juices flowing. Brayshaw has a knack for making some of the most confused ideas of religioun make sense. A look at the cultural context of writings that seem to speak about Satan, reveals the truth about this ancient myth.

    Ist Show under our belt

Well, our first show is under ouur belt and we appreciate the support and interest of all our listeners.
In the show we briefly covered the path of the ancient Israelites as they moved from a prescirbed monotheism and became embroiled in a cosmic dualism upon spending time in Persia. We wil spend more time in the future on finding out what went down almost 2500 years ago in Persia. A fulcrum that resulted in Judaism, Islam, and Christianity accepting a doctrine of Satan.
Coming up on Wednesday, we plan to find out if there was a fallen angel who became the Satan of Christianity. Most major faith groups adhere to a fallen angel idea they find in Isaiah 14. I think you will be excited to learn how this idea morphed into a literal Satan belief for religion.

Email your thoughts and questions. Always happy to discuss some of these ideas with the inquisitive.

    See you soon
