Cromnibus Love in the Air, as Obama, Boehner, and Reid Go Fund Themselves

The two parties who aren’t much different roll on leaving us with the $1.1 trillion spending bill known as Cromnibus that funds the government through next September.  Having developed amnesia regarding why they were elected last fall, Republicans funded all of Obama’s agenda.  The sole exception is the Department of Homeland Security which is funded only until February 27th.

Roger Fleming is the author of the new novel, Majority Rules.  He’s a veteran of Capitol Hill having served as Legislative Director to a US Congressman.

Shona Holmes is a Canadian healthcare refugee.  A serious illness caused her to flee government run health care and come to the US for treatment.  She is watching the US head towards a government run health care system which will lead to the same awful cut backs, wait times, limited resources, and shortages in doctors, hospital beds, and diagnostic equipment that is seen in Canada.
