Mike Giallombardo is a husband, father, combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, businessman and a middle class American. He is running to represent and serve the people in the 23 district of Florida as a Republican, hoping to unseat Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
After graduating from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Mike’s passion was to serve his country. While serving in the Army’s 4 Infantry Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom, he served on the front lines where he conducted combat operations and helped liberate the Iraqi people from extremist. During his year-long deployment Mike conducted key leader engagement meetings with religious and political leaders to help combat insurgents and terrorist. His dedication was instrumental in ridding terrorists and extremists from local towns and villages. He played a crucial role in facilitating the success of the electoral process where for the first time women were encouraged the right to vote in Iraq.
Mike’s decision to run for United States Congress originated from his desire to serve our country and to ensure a stable and strong economic future for our future generations. His goal is to bring the right solutions to Washington and set our next generation up for success.
