Isaiah Washington-The Gondobay Manga Foundation

In 2005, Washington originated the role of Dr. Preston Burke on the ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy. His portrayal earned him two NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series, as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award.

He has been featured in four acclaimed Spike Lee films: Crooklyn, Clockers, Girl 6, and Girl on the Bus. Other feature credits include Love Jones, Dead Presidents, and Dancing in September - which earned him a nomination for an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor.
