New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is a fan of the nanny state.  He's pushed through regulations about salt content and required greater nutritional disclosure, but now he wants to ban large sugary drinks!

When will Bloomberg realize that individuals should be reponsible for their own actions, not the government?

Plus, the House voted on PRENDA, a bill that would ban sex-selective abortions.  This comes on the heels of hidden camera video that shows a Planned Parenthood worker willing to help a women abort her child if it is a girl.  Unfortunately the bill did not pass.
