My debut book of poems, The Wanted, has just been published by the
National Poetry Review Press. It has received advance praise from
Michael Collier, Henry Israeli and Elizabeth Spires. With Julia
Spicher Kasdorf, I edited the anthology Broken Land: Poems of Brooklyn
(NYU Press, 2007). My poems have appeared in over 50 print and online
venues, including Agni, The Canary, Fogged Clarity, Gulf Coast,
Mudlark, The New York Times, The Paris Review, Ploughshares, Sycamore
Review, Toronto Quarterly, and The Yale Review. Some of my poems have
been set to music by Emmy-winning composer Glen Roven. I've acted on
television and in short films, and in the New York City Fringe
Festival. I teach writing at NYU.
