Josie invites you to explore her site, to look at the information on the healing journeys to John of God/Brazil and the articles about him, as well as learning about other sacred journeys and the work that she herself offers through individual healing sessions and spiritual workshops. John of God (Joao de Deus, or birth name Joao Texeira da Faria) is a medium, or vessel, of spiritual healing. Many have said that he has performed miracles of healing, but John of God always says, “I have never healed anyone – it is God who heals.” The place where she most profoundly encountered this essential truth was at John of God’s healing center in Brazil. In 1998 she became one of the first non-Brazilians to visit this center - the Casa de Dom Inacio - and at John of God’s request, to begin bringing people from outside of Brazil who are wishing to travel to the Casa. Because of the depth of her experience during her initial visit to the Casa, she was enthused to begin this part of her “mission,” and became the first North American guide to the Casa, now taking people there from all over the world. At John of God’s request, she also accompanies him on the rare occasions when he works outside of Brazil, to assist in the healing work at these events.
