Desvendando "O evangelho aos Hebreus" (Unraveling "The gospel to the Hebrews")

Em 12 de agosto, 1553 o Papa Júlio III, assinou um decreto proibindo o Talmud em Roma, proibindo qualquer coisa semelhante ao Talmud, (tudo que fosse escrito em letras hebraicas). Jean DuTillet, Bispo de Brieu, França, visitava Roma na época. DuTillet foi surpreendido ao tomar conhecimento de um manuscrito hebraico de Mateus entre os outros manuscritos hebraicos. DuTillet adquiriu o manuscrito e retornou à França, depositando-o na Biblioteca Nacional, Paris. Ele permanece lá até hoje como ms hebreu. No. 132. Conhecida e respeitada pelos pais da igreja, a versão DuTillet hebraico de Mateus, também Hugh Schonfield declarou sua opinião de que este texto hebraico é a base do nosso texto grego atual, bem como dos antigos  evangelhos aos hebreus, dos Nazarenos e Ebionitas. On August 12, 1553 Pope Julius III signed a decree banning the Talmud in Rome, forbidding any thing similar to the Talmud, (everything that was written in Hebrew letters).
