This week, John Wallace will be interviewing Frosty Wooldridge, who has bicycled 100,000 miles across six continents and six times across the USA in the past 30 years. From the Arctic to Antarctica, he’s seen the human dilemma in soberingly close detail. This math and science teacher, in his travels, pedaled through nearly 100 countries and cultures—with a close-up view of the human condition. In 2005, he pedaled from the Arctic Circle, Norway to Athens, Greece. In 2006, he motorcycled 20,300 miles to all 48 state capitols and delivered 100 speeches to 96 TV camera crews for ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and FOX. His last question to all of them was, “Name one advantage of adding 100 million people to the United States in 30 years?” Mr. Wooldridge reports that because of unending growth caused by both legal and illegal immigration, the USA has added 100 million people in the last forty years alone. Our country faces a growing water crisis, energy crisis, climate change crisis, crowding and gridlock, air pollution and acid rain, species extinction and quality of life crisis because of this population explosion. Why is our government not doing anything about it? Every negative aspect of humanity’s accelerating survival crisis stems from human overpopulation. Tune in to find out what he proposes as the solution. People are encouraged to call in.
