The city of Boston celebrated the Red Sox world series win with the traditional parade through the city.  The Duck Boats took the players around as millions came out.

But the team also stopped and paid homage to the victims of the Boston Marathon Bombing back in April – by placing the trophy at the finish line.  I tweeted. Not a dry eye in New England.

This is what we call Red Sox Nation.  So what is Red Sox Nation really?

Bobby Donlan is a member of Red Sox nation – officially.  He lives in Atlanta.  He is part owner of one of my favorite restaurants New York Prime – in Atlanta.  He is originally from Massachusetts and a graduate of UMass.  He is talking to us from Atlanta.

Greg Pearson has written the book, Fenway Fanatics: 50 Boston Red Sox Fans Tell Their Stories.  It’s a great Christmas gift
