National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) organization is comprised of several national public service organizations, professional medical associations, and government agencies working in partnership to build breast cancer awareness, share information and provide access to screening services. NBCAM, and http://nbcam.org/, are a year-round resource for patients, survivors, caregivers and the general public.

Since its beginning more than 20 years ago, NBCAM has been dedicated to increasing awareness of breast cancer issues, especially the importance of early detection. NBCAM has evolved along with the national dialogue on breast cancer. Many strides have been made in breast cancer awareness and treatment, but even more still needs to be accomplished. We are focused on encouraging women to take charge of their own breast health, by practicing regular self-breast exams, making sure to schedule an annual mammogram, adhering to prescribed treatment and knowing the facts about recurrence.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we encourage you to visit our site in October and regularly throughout the year as we update and add information and resources.

Sophia Stewart, the creative force behind the movies The Terminator and The Matrix filed a $150 million dollar malpractice lawsuit (CASE #: 2:07-cv-00552-DAK) against her former attorneys: Michael T. Stoller, Jonathan Lubell, Gary S. Brown, and Dean Webb in U.S. District Court, District of Utah (Central) on 07/30/2007. The four attorneys represented her in a 2003 lawsuit against Andy Wachowski, Gale Ann Hurd, Hemdale Films, James Cameron, Joel Silver, Larry Wachowski, 20th Century Fox and Warner Brothers. The 2003 lawsuit alleged (among other things) copyright infringement pertaining to her written work that The Terminator and The Matrix movies are based on. Although, Ms. Stewart had a preponderance of evidence to support her claims, her case was dismissed under summary judgment. http://www.matrixthirdeye.tv/

Anthony J. Lynch filed a civil lawsuit against JP Morgan Chase & Company in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, Southern Division, (2:08-cv-13059-DML-SDP) on July 15, 2008. In the civil complaint Anthony J, Lynch alleges (among other things) that his direct supervisor Tim Dolan (Acting on behalf of Chase) hired prostitutes (From “Craig’s List”) to service a group of male employees, who work for Chase’s mortgage division.
