Rev 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

Rev 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

Rev 9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

Akris- locusts a locust which infests oriental countries stripping fields and trees. Orientals are accustomed to eating them as were the Israelites.

2Ch 7:13 or if I command the locusts to devour

H2284 chagab - locust

H2283 chaga a reeling in terror

H2287chagag to move in a circle

H2294 chaggith a festival

H2292 Haggai (festive) the prophet

I discuss the latest word with some updates on the definition of locusts(symbolic for judgement) and the whirling dervish. Add the Kings of the east  (China) and we arrive at another aspect of judgment.
