    Dom DeLuise

     had the privilege to attend part of Florida State University's Theatre Graduate Program in Jupiter, Florida, The Burt Reynolds Institute for Theatre Training. It was an apprentice program, which makes the TV shows "Survivor" and "The Apprentice" seem easy. It was a year long program where you had the opportunity to work with celebrities and professional working actors of stage and screen and operate on little sleep.  In the words of Burt Reynolds "You'll sleep when you are dead".

    Unfortunately my class was one of the few who did NOT get to work with the amazing talent of Dom DeLuise. But Dom's spirit was always there either by tales of the alumni or Burt himself.

    Today I reflect on his many talents as a director and actor and hope when I leave this planet that I will have given to the world what we did.  May you rest in peace Mr. DeLuise.
