Ok, it's a simple lead in for our next show....Tara Samuel = The Western Woman.  I could leave it at that, but for those of you who may not have heard (YET!!) of this amazing woman, let me give you some insight: 

Tara Samuel is an award-winning Canadian actor; born in Taiwan and raised in downtown Toronto where she was classically-trained at the renowned George Brown Theatre School. Recipient of the John Bannerman Award. Tara is beloved internationally as "Tara Williams" on the critically-acclaimed TV series Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye. The series continues to air around the world - and in the US, on the Gospel Music Channel.

Tara Samuel has been professionally producing theatre and film for over ten years. She wrote, directed and starred in FIND which screened at festivals around the world; nominated for 'Best Narrative Short' at the Oscar-qualifying Austin Film Festival. The feature-length version of FIND is in development.

2011-2012, Tara produced and starred in the films Ruby Booby, The Rwanda Blend,  the movie trailer Last Wish,  directed by Deborah LaVine. Prairie Sonata is a "2011 Spirit of Moondance Award Winner" and an official "2011 Moondance Audience Favorite". Ruby Booby and Prairie Sonata tour festivals throughout 2011 and 2012.

Samuel is a proud co-founder of the exploding L.A.indie film collective We Make Movies, along with Joe Leonard & Sam Mestman - and of Busterhouse Productions, along with co-producer Matt Flugger.
