Ginny is a four year old little girl who has a severe peanut allergy which keeps her isolated from the world. This allergy is so severe that it is not uncommon to find her in the emergency room because of exposure to peanuts. Recently, her parents purchased a service dog for Ginny so that she would be able to get out of the house and start living a more normal life, but it was not to be. Unfortunately, the dog Ginny received was not trained adequately and simply has not been useful as a service dog. Now, the problem remains for Ginny and her freedom as she is still confined to her home to be able to protect her from a severe allergic reaction from Peanuts.

Ginny's parents have been assisted by a local Oklahoma City television station to find a well trained allergy alert service dog. This can be a life saving dog for Ginny, but it is very expensive and will cost the family $20,000 just to purchase it. Currently, friends and acquaintances of Ginny and her parents are working with them to help get the dog from the next graduating class of service dogs which takes place in October. We will be talking with Ginny's parents Monday August 8th at 11am CST to find out more about Ginny and what it has meant to Ginny and her fanily to deal with this allergy.
