Jim Wood is back on the radio. Jim Wood started young intently listening/watching from the back of sound booths in radio stations. Hanging around the stations after school in his hometown in Kansas, he learned from some of the best in the business. He knew in high school he wanted to have a career in radio. By 1969, you could listen to Jim on the Jim Wood Show in his hometown in Oklahoma. In 1971 as music director/program director at KWHP, Jim had the fastest growing radio station in the greater Oklahoma City area. Jim's success as a young broadcaster and columnist kept him constantly busy but he still found time for college. He was a music major concentrating on piano, accordion and trombone but his love for the radio business carried him through the next 15 years from putting stations on the air, to being Sales manager, to being Operations Manager, to being the DJ with the smooth golden voice everyone loved to listen to. Jim took a break from the radio business to start his own advertising agency to help clients with the skills he had learned in advertising. Jim's voice could be heard on commercials and voice-overs for many clients on both radio and TV. In 1999, Jim became the co-host on a health and wellness show bringing in another of his talents learned in the radio business----interviewing. That show lasted for 7 years and was heard in 4 different markets and as the internet developed it went world wide online. Jim is active as a Bible teacher in the church he attends with his lovely wife, Lynne, as well as being the head of the sound ministry. He also uses the God-given gift of his singing voice to bless others. Jim and his wife also have had their own successful home business for almost 11 years. Now Jim is taking another step and branching out to use his interviewing skills to bring life and wellness experts to you.
