“Jim Del - On The Issues” is a 30 minute talk show discussing current events from a common sense, conservative prospective. I am a community advocate and former Republican Party activist, who has been hosting/producing a local community cable access program in my hometown in Massachusetts since 1993. When the Republican Party abandoned its core beliefs, I abandoned the GOP, favoring a more conservative approach to today’s issues. The purpose of “On The Issues” is to provide a forum for conservatives and liberals to dialogue, and to encourage listeners to think about issues independent of liberal media bias. The liberal media is influencing how we view the issues of the day, and it is time for people to recognize that the mainstream media is biased, and begin to formulate their own opinions on the important issues. That means not just accepting what we see on TV news programs, or in the newspapers, as truth, but for each of us to search out the facts and formulate an educated opinion. I chose to begin “On The Issues” to not only share my common-sense commentary with a larger audience, but also to stimulate more people to think for themselves. Informed and attentive citizens won’t be fooled by the liberals. I’m going to attempt to stimulate people into seeing the foibles of the liberals, one mind at a time! I’m not trying to get people to think like me. I’m trying to get people to think! I invite people of different points of view to call into the program and open a dialogue.
