Jon H. Hicks, Chief Financial Officer of J. Hagan Warren Capital Partners and expert in alternative investments, speaks briefly about how direct and secured investments can operate.  He offers some comentary on a few recent developments in the financial industry that can have an impact on investors seeking income streams during retirement.  Mr. Hicks has been featured on FoxBusiness, Fortune, and Accounting Today for his insights and financial commentary.

Direct Investing in alternatives has become more mainstream over the years as the Yale Endowment (among other notable investors) has profited from this investing strategy.  Alternative investments can have the potential to lower portfolio volatility and provide higher income streams than other traditional investments.  As always, there are drawbacks to secured direct investments that any potential investor must consider.
