The Hillel Experience

From early childhood through Grade 12, The Samuel Scheck Hillel Community Day School | The Ben Lipson Hillel Community High School inspires students to become exemplary global citizens with strong Jewish identity through an innovative curriculum enriched by co-curricular experiences. All this is set within a nurturing, diverse, traditional Jewish community. Founded in the 1970s, Hillel is the one of the largest Jewish community day schools in the nation and Florida’s first Jewish International Baccalaureate® (IB) World School.

Upon a foundation of values, Hillel pillars of Academics, Judaics, Co-Curricular and Community stand tall and strong throughout campus, from Reggio Emilia-inspired Early Childhood Education through the Capstone Years in preparation for college. The balanced program cultivates students’ moral, intellectual, spiritual, aesthetic and physical qualities through rigorous study, religious and cultural experiences, arts and athletics, service learning and leadership, so students develop a 21st century skill set. Nationally recognized faculty and a range of special services empower Hillel students to reach their full potential. Every year, seniors graduate to Ivy League and top tier universities, state schools, Israel programs and
other prestigious colleges, with 90% earning acceptance to their first choice.
