Joe Flacco threw a 66-yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Jones over former Raven Ed Reed, and Justin Tucker kicked four field goals as the Baltimore Ravens shut down the Jets anemic offense in a 19-3 victory.

The defending Super Bowl Champions (5-6) had lost four of five before beating the New York Jets (5-6) and keep their playoff hopes alive.  The Jets hopes of a post-season appearance now seem doomed even though they are still one of several AFC teams in the mix for the final Wild Card playoff spot.

Baltimore won on the strength of their defense, forcing the Jets into three turnovers, limited them to 220 yards and stopped 11 of 12 third-down tries.  Rookie Geno Smith completed 9 of only 22 passes for 127 yards and 2 interceptions, both by Corey Graham.

New York had alternated wins and losses in their first 10 games, but the pattern ended with their second straight defeat.  Rex Ryan is now 0-3 against his former team where he was their defensive line coach from 1999-2004.

And what does this mean for Geno Smith's tenure as the Jets starting quarterback?  Could Matt Simms be elevated to the starting role as soon as this week?

Tune in, as we bring you the best 60 Jets minutes you will find anywhere to find out on Jets Zone Radio!
