Thursday Night Football debuted this past week, featuring the NY Jets visiting their top division rival New England Patriots.  The night was a sloppy, mistake filled game played in rain conditions in the second half which made matters even worse for both teams.  While the Jets defense did more than enough to keep Tom Brady and the Patriots offense in check after a seemingly confused first quarter, Geno Smith and the offensive unit continued to struggle and offered up multiple turnovers and ball drops that were too much to overcome in the Patriots 13-10 win over the Jets.

We will offer the sounds of the game and post mortems about the highs and lows of losing on a night that the Patriots offense was clearly off their game due to injuries, and the lack of timing between Tom Brady and his new look receivers.  That didn’t stop Pats star Julian Edelman from lighting the Jets up for 13 catches and 78 yards.  It was one of the big differences in the game that left New England undefeated and tied for first place in the AFC East with the surprising Miami Dolphins.
