Introduction of Today's Show:

We all must make a living, but how to go about doing it is our challenge.

The reality is that In today's recessionary economy you have less security  working for a corporation, a small business or even a once acknowledged secure profession such as a teacher, realtor, insurance agent, fireman,or even in a business such as a dry cleaner.

In what career, then, can a sense of security be found as you endeavour to "make a living?"

I suggest that the most secure positioning you can have as you make a living is through ownership of your own  economic vehicle such as a busininess.

Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson

In Spencer Johnson's, best seller,  "Who Moved My Cheese" he paints the great methaphore about how life continues to change our environment, the available resources, and  the rules of how to provide for your needs. In the book, those who learned how to adapt and were willing to make changes survived and thrived; those who didnt suffered lack and became victumized by their environment. This book is such a powerful symbol of the changing, shifting economic forces that impact our lives and what we can do to increase our ability to "make a living"
