Junior Entrepreneurs On The Move Radio show will premiere on Saturday November 17, 2007 at 6pm. You can find JEOTM at http://ww.blogtalkradio.com/jeotm. JEOTM Radio is the brainchild of 2 young men Jerry who is 12 years old and his brother RJ AKA Spidey Boy who is 8 years old. JEOTM was created to encourage and foster the entrepreneurial spirit in young people. Each show will will feature guests that introduce youth early on to business concepts and entrepreneurship. By empowering youth JEOTM Radio seeks to instill key skills that will enable financial independence.
Marilyn Kourilsky, former Director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, has found that as many as 1 in 4 kindergärtners demonstrate entrepreneurial qualities such as a taste for risk-taking, creative problem-solving abilities, and high internal motivation to succeed (as cited in Gutner, 1994) so our children are never too young to be encouraged to create, develop, and own their own business. In addition to having the ability of becoming successful entrepreneurs, the youth market is also very profitable; in fact according to 360Youth.com the total amount spent by TWEENs (youth aged 8-14) and their families was 225 BILLION Dollars. So as Jerry and Spidey Boy love to say, Business is Kids Play!
