When Ali Boyd offered to research Peter Kelley, her uncle & adopted sister's biological father, as a gift, she had no idea what to expect.  She certainly didn't think she'd be directing a movie:

As a child Ali was afraid of the drug dealer, smuggler, fugitive, and singer songwriter, who abandoned his child to hide from the FBI in NYC. In NYC he met Seymour Stein and Richard Gotterher, who signed him to Sire Records.  The rich story that unfolded included a few song recordings and revealed a man well loved, known in celebrity circles, and a few interesting twists. Listen in to hear an amazing bit of rock n' roll history, healing, and how you can help make this movie happen!
