Ok...so...we hit a rough patch in our originally scheduled interview. But we are back! And we ARE going to speak with this talented artist on FRI, June 22nd at 10am for a solid hour!

LaTonia Phipps is an actress, spoken word poet, playwright and an alumna of The Eugene O’Neil National Theater – one of the best in the nation. She has been featured in the off-Broadway hit All American Girls, and has performed with noted production companies such as The Negro Ensemble Company.

Her current hit Fishin’ in Brooklyn has received rave reviews from critics everywhere as she portrays every single character in this one-woman production. She has been compared to the great stage and film actress Anna Deveare Smith AND Ntozake Shange of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf fame.

Join us TUESDAY, June 26th at 10am EST, and listen in on the life that is Latonia Phipps – right here on Livin’ the Dream! with J Blair Brown.
