The mission: To save one child at a time...through music. CLASSICAL music.

Dantes Rameau is executive director of the Atlanta Music Program, a non-profit, after-school musical program where some of the most effective instructors teach classical music to underprivileged children of Atlanta, GA. Teaching these children the fine art of classical music, they are given the opportunity to master the violin, cello, bass, flute (my personal favorite!), clarinet, trumpet and trombone. Says its website, "AMP believes the pursuit of musical excellence leads to the development of confidence, creativity, and ambition thus sparking positive social change in the individuals and the communities we serve."

Rameau (pronounced ram-MOO), a gifted bassoonist in his own right, will discuss the passion behind the program's mission and why he feels music is so important to the lives of these children.

It will be an eye-opening hour for sure. Join us on WED, July 27th at 7pm EST for this LIVE broadcast.
