LGBT people are becoming increasingly frustrated by the Democratic party's refusal to fully support equality for all Americans. With a majority lead in the House and Senate and a Democratic President, action should be inevitable. But here we sit losing state after state with several Democrats refusing to recognize equality. Enter Socialism. Tonight's show features guests Seth Fowler (OneStruggleOneFight.com) and Ragina Johnson to discuss the gap being filled by the socialist party in the quest for human rights.

Robin McGehee gained national attention after being removed from the PTA board at her son’s Catholic school for being gay. Since then, she’s continued moving forward in the quest for civil equality for all people and has served the LGBTQ community as a friend and muse. Most recently, she served as co-director of the National Equality March in Washington D.C. However, much occurred before that, including being the organizer of California's Meet in the Middle rally held after the passage of Proposition 8, which repealed California’s recognition of same-sex marriage. Her work in youth advocacy resulted in a Martin Luther King, Jr. award. Advocacy has led her down many roads and she continues moving forward toward the goal of equality for all. Next in line? Meet in the Middle for Maine Equality!

Closet Talk: The Eagle Bar Raid with Nicholas and Johnnie

Police recently raided the Eagle in Atlanta after an anonymous complaint from a neighboring residential building claimed the bar was promoting public sex and drug use. Police entered the bar and made patrons lay on the floor, some for over an hour, while they illegally searched their pockets and refused to state why they were detaining the bar goers. Since the raid, many rumors have found their way into the conservative and liberal blogosphere. Tonight, I'll be talking with Nicholas and Johnnie, two patrons at the bar that night and answering, "What really happened?"

Closet Talk: David - Being Gay and Staying Mormon

David is a 20 year old vlogger who has decided not to flee the Mormon church, but instead work to inspire change within his faith. I've used a lot of analogies to describe David, such as "David and Goliath" or a "Rosa Parks" figure refusing to give up his seat on the metaphoric bus. But when you pull away all the grandeur that I've bestowed upon him, you're still left with a remarkable young man. In this episode, we'll discuss David's life growing up in the Mormon church, his coming out while a member of the Mormon church and his quest to remain in the Mormon church.

Closet Talk: Candice Metzler | ENDA

Candice Metzler lost her job after deciding to transition from man to woman. Her employer was initially fine with the transition, but after clients began complaining, the struggling company felt they had no choice but to let Candice go. Unemployment didn't take long to scar Candice's life, leaving her homeless. During that time she was applying for job after job in the construction industry, only to be turned down. Recently, Candice organized a community forum on workplace discrimination against lesbian, gay bisexual and transgender employees. To learn more about workplace discrimination and Candice's work fighting for equality, please read the article in the Salt Lake City Tribune and join us for this episode of Closet Talk.

Closet Talk: Michael Spencer on Gay Youth

Being gay in conservative town USA isn't easy, but gay youth are certainly more liberal than the older generation. In this episode, I spoke with Michael Spencer, a Texasn whose parents believe him to be in a relationship with a woman in spite of the fact they caught Michael and his boyfriend kissing. We discussed what gay youth need to hear to be inspired, the current LGBT rights movement's focus on marriage equality and what that means to him as a gay youth - with only his tiptoe out of the closet.
