When Lt. Dan Choi chained himself to the White House fence, it was supposed to send the message that we will no longer tolerate government sanctioned discrimination targeting our gay service members. Simultaneously, activists in D.C. and California staged sit-ins at Nancy Pelosi's offices demanding the an inclusive ENDA be brought up for a vote. But rather than turning the focus to activism and pushing forward for gay rights, grassroots organizers and the big Gay, Inc. money machines went to war with each other. Some grassroots organizers burned their HRC stickers in protest. The message shifted to, "Down with the HRC." Join me with guests David Badash (blogger at The New Civil Rights Movement); author Kathy Belge (who authors the Lesbian Life section for About.com); and activists, Stuart Wilber and Chloe Noble with a recorded message from Genia Stevens (blogger and podcaster from SistersTalk.net).
