To the casual fan and sports junkie,Welcome! Thanks for stopping by to read the first of what will be many blogs discussing my show, and most of all, the world of sports. First off I must thank my boss, John Tichenor, for introducing me to this wonderful site. This came as a complete surprise. I relish the opportunity to reach out to the masses and keep everyone entertained while talking about one of my favorite topics, sports. For the last seven years, I've hosted an hour long, weekly sports talk show from a local community center in The Bronx. During that time, I've been able to learn on the fly on what it takes to get behind the mic and host a talk show. There were many painful times when I've played back a recorded show and I've had to listen to numerous mistakes that I was unaware of during the course of the program (i.e. saying you know, of course, and the dreaded, uhhhhhhhh 600 times an hour). Not to say that I've become a robot and that every show is seamless, but having that platform to hone my skills has been my hands-on education in the world of communications, and now I'm ready for the next step. And that next step will take place on Tuesday, June 10th. That'll be the premiere of The JayReelz Sports Talk Radio Program. As much as I'm chomping at the bit to get on the air, I still have more research to do (i.e. promoting, preparation) and I'll also be on vacation for ten days starting on Memorial Day. More details to come as far as what time the show will air and how often the show will be. Thanks for logging on. Any questions or comments, please feel free to respond. Regards,JayReelz
