Loved that video. Posting it to my site. Women who've grown up without the love of a father are a different kind of wowman. My father loved me and I miss him. www.ChicagosBlackBusienssNetwork.com

Last week on “The Way I See It” our guests, authors Cicely J and Greyling Presley II created quite a flurry of controversy in our chat room as they discussed their opinions as they relate to “Interracial Dating and Marriage, and Why It’s Still Being Debated.” Their respective books, “black men vs. White Men... the Black Woman’s Choice,” and “No Disrespect Sista, But I Want to Be Happy,” both titles admittedly created for “shock value,” represent two skewed point-of-views that can only further alienate black men and women from closing the ever-widening gap that continues to separate them.
When our show ended, last Sunday, it was agreed upon by both authors at our invitation that, because our show ended with so much more that could have been said, the topic warranted to be continued, this week. Since that decision and, possibly after hearing the show from our archives, Mr. Presley has reconsidered his participation and has declined to appear, this Sunday. Resilient and still standing firmly, however, is Cicely J who will further discuss her opinions on why more black women are now considering other options when it comes to dating and marriage.

Ladies and Gentlemen, line up your snacks; pull up your chairs and LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!! Sunday, on “The Way I See It,” Jay King, Robert Redwine and I (Joan-Adrienne), invite you to join us as we step into a battle zone to officiate the often debated topic on black men and women who elect to step outside of their own race to find “real” love. While it is possible the claws may come out and the daggers may be flying, we suspect that by the time this show finally concludes, this topic will end in a “draw,” only to be continued for years to come without any decent or significant resolutions.
In one corner, we will have author Cicely J, whose book, “Black Men vs. White Men... The Black Woman’s Choice,” will undoubtedly create a storm of controversy based on her opinions as to why it’s nearly impossible for a black woman to find a good black man. And, in the other corner, we have author Greyling Presley II, whose book, “No Disrespect Sister, But I Want to be Happy,” will probably make some sisters want to rip out their silky, flowing tresses.
If you would like to weigh in on this topic, give us a call at 347-205-9366 or join our lively chat room. To gain access to the chat room, you must sign up at www.blogtalkradio.com with a user name and password, before logging onto the show.
