A frank discussion between host Jay King, co-host Robert Redwine and their listeners about love and relationships
Date / Time: 8/30/2009 1:36 AM UTC
For two weeks, on “The Way I See It,” we have been having a frank discussion with Death Row Records’ original co-founder, Michael (Harry-O) Harris. Based on the many comments received both in our chat room and by email, the concensus is that Mr. Harris has served an unfair and lengthy sentence, and it is time for the state of California to “do the right thing,” by releasing him. Currently serving a 28-year-to-life sentence on charges for drug sales and “attempted” murder, in which the victim later recanted his story, Mr. Harris has an upcoming parole hearing this Thursday, September 3, to determine if he will finally regain his freedom.
During Michael’s twenty-two year imprisonment, he has been and continues to be a model inmate dedicated to instilling and teaching positive attitudes in the minds of many of his fellow inmates. His entrepreneur and mentorship abilities, inside various California prisons, have empowered inmates toward leading more constructive, crime-free lives upon eventual release back into society.
Join Jay and Robert, tomorrow, August 30, for their continued discussion with Michael Harris at www.blogtalkradio.com/Jay-King. We welcome and encourage your calls: 347-205-9366
