A frank discussion between host Jay King, co-host Robert Redwine and their listeners about love and relationships

God's Masterpiece Is Mother
God took the fragrance of a flower... The majesty of a tree... The gentleness of morning dew... The calm of a quiet sea...
The beauty of the twilight hour... The soul of a starry night... The laughter of a rippling brook... The grace of a bird in flight...
Then God fashioned from these things A creation like no other, And when his masterpiece was through He called it simply - Mother. (By Herbert Farnham)
Since the beginning of time, Mothers have been the original architects of multi-tasking when it comes to the foundation and organization of their families. From the moment of their children’s births, relying upon their mother-wit and God-given natural instincts, mothers have loved, nurtured, inspired, motivated, supported, and prepared their children to grow into respectful men and women who will eventually cherish their own families and pay it forward by honoring the unceasing, unwavering love and devotion that came from their beloved mothers .
In times of grief, sacrifice and, when they have carried the most burdensome troubles of others on their small but agile shoulders, mothers in their own unique ways, have always found the strength and resiliency to continue on with what they do best; being mothers. Although, at times, their endless and selfless deeds are forgotten or ignored, their backs may bend but seldom break as they continue their multi-tasking, for better or for worse.
Sunday, Jay King, who lost his beloved mother, Helen Bridges on his birthday (January 27, 2007) and Robert Redwine, who will be spending some special time with his mother, tomorrow, will be giving honor in their “live” tribute to all mothers on their two-hour segment of “The Way I See It.”
If you are a listener of “The Way I See It,” and would like to send out a tribute to your mother, we invite you to share your special thoughts by calling our “live” switchboard at: 347-205-9366. On the other hand, you can also leave your thoughts in our chat room at www.blogtalkradio.com/Jay-King.
