A frank discussion between host Jay King, co-host Robert Redwine and their listeners about love and relationships

GOLD-DIGGING
Throughout the history of civilization, people who lack financial security and have limited to zero options, have often been known to seek out wealthy partners as “sponsors” to achieve whatever they are unable and sometimes unwilling to provide for themselves. Commonly and appropriately referred to as “gold-diggers,” more often that not, these sponsored recipients have been and continue to be women who believe their looks and sacrificed-time should be an honest and fair exchange in achieving whatever their hearts desire; no matter how high the cost. Once a gold-digger has honed in on a potential goldmine, compatibility, emotions, romance and love are rarely factored into the equation. In fact, gold-diggers will often go out of their way to avoid such distractions even if it means they have to belittle, demean and disrespect themselves or someone to achieve their lofty goals.
Though today’s concept of “gold-digging” remains the same, times have changed and we are seeing more shifting in the winds. As more women continue to become more financially successful, male “gold-diggers” are looking to strike it rich, as well.
There is much to be said about the business of “gold-digging.” “The Way I See It” host Jay King and co-host Robert Redwine, invite you to join them Sunday, April 26 to discuss this controversial topic that is bound to stir up a myriad of opinions. If you know someone who excavates for gold (male or female), or if you, yourself, are a gold-digger with no shame-in-your-game, Jay and Robert invite you to call in to share your “point-of-view” with the “The Way I See It” listeners.
