Slavery in this country happened, it is real.... African American people & their ancestors suffered deep wounds because of this disgusting and disturbing act of human bondage and it happened in these United States of America, some people say the jim crow laws that carried slavery past it's supposed ending (emanicipation proclamation) still exists in certain parts of the south & south east. This may be so, but the real question for me is why do we want to avoid the discussion of slavery and act as tho it never existed, I along with Dr. Julian Hayter (Doctrate in African American History) will discuss this and other provocative issues concerning black folk and the affects of slavery on our young black population (if any). I ask you to tune in on "the way I see it" www.blogtalkradio.com/jay-king or call in 347-205-9366 and let us hear your voice.
