I haven't sat down to think of these things yet, but I will hopefully have my list compiled for the day of Thanksgiving, 24 hours before everyone gets up early to find those bargains. If I had the strength of sanity and some cash, I might be out there too. Yet, as it stands, I don't, so I think this inventory of thankfulness will help us stay grounded this holiday season.

In trying and hard times, let us pray for God's abiding and supernatural, intervening hand. Isaiah says his arm is not short, that it can not reach. (Meaning it surely can reach us!). But as we pray for these things we need in our lives, let us pray from the point of peace and eternal hope and promise... A friend sent me along part of this passage, and it seemed a timely word. (Rom 5:1-5 NIV) Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. God bless, let us be mindful of Him this Holy Week, and always, The J Man
