Kym Whitley: Actress/Comedienne

Funny, talented, and driven don't quite define quadruple-threat actress, producer, director and stand-up comedienne Kym E. Whitley.

www.KymWhitley.net Kym created and co-hosted her own evening talk show on BET entitled “Oh Drama!” These same qualities have made her an in-demand player, starring alongside some of Hollywood’s elite in such box office hits as “Fun With Dick and Jane”, Along Came Polly”, “The Perfect Man”, “Deliver Us From Eva” and “Next Friday”. After a scene stealing run as the hilarious, wisecracking secretary in the UPN comedy series “Sparks”, Whitley became a staple on television guest-starring on popular shows like “Grey’s Anatomy”, HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, Disney’s “That’s So Raven”, ABC’s “My Wife And Kids”, UPN’s “Love Inc.” & “The Parkers, “The Boondocks” on the Cartoon Network and most recently on"School Pride"- the school makeover show. In addition to her film and television appearances, Kym performs side-splitting stand-up routines weekly at “Whacked Out Wednesdays” comedy night at Sierra’s Café in Studio City, CA with her “partner in laughs” Buddy Lewis.
Due out this summer, she will co-star with Vivica A. Fox in the film “The Salon”, and appear in the new ABC comedy series “What About Brian” from acclaimed director/producer J.J. Abrams. Simultaneously, Whitley also owns and operates Kwick Whit Productions and has several projects in development.
