On this episode of Discover Janesville with Yuri Rashkin: Three Legislators: Three Stories State Representative Andy Jorgensen (D) is Democratic Caucus Chair in the State Assembly, and he came to talk about his petition to save Senior Care from cuts, the need to save UW from cuts and being disconnected from the State, and his thoughts on which approach is best to improve chances of Democrats increasing numbers in the Assembly. Andy even gave a tip to Governor Scott Walker on how to be a better candidate for President. State Representative Amy Loudenbeck (R) is heavily involved with the budget process in her capacity as member of the Joint Committee on Finance. As member of the majority party, she is also working to pass her own bills, which she discussed on the program. These include AB 10, which aims to help people filing restraining orders and injunctions in domestic situations, and AB 16, which looks to help stop human trafficking.
