Jane E. Wilcox welcomes Christopher Densmore, head of Friends Historical Library at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania. Chris will talk about Quakers in New York. Where did they come from and where did they live? What is so unique about Quakers? What records did they keep in NY? Where can we find the records?

Christopher Densmore is head of Friends Historical Library, the largest repository of Quaker records and papers in North America. Friends Historical Library serves as the archives for all of New York Yearly Meeting.  Chris is the author of numerous books and articles on Quakers in Canada, New York and Pennsyvania. He is a co-author of Quaker Crosscurrents: Three Hundred Years of the New York Yearly Meetings.
