You can always try and despite the inquiries. You'll need to go to www.annualcreditreport.com This will allow you one free credit report per year without a ding to your score. Each report will allow you to despute items on them. Try that first. Also, it's sometimes better to have your credit report with you when going in to make major purchases, that way you are an educated consumer from the jump and they can give you an analysis without pulling your report.
