The pretext was a series of nasty notes using the end-words left on black students doors or cars.  Protests erupted within hours, which then became organized under the aegis of The Collective, a group of student activists who shut down classrooms and brought the college to a standstill.  The school administration is bending over backwards to sign The Collective's Terms & Conditions for Negotiation and evaluate a series of demands ranging from sensitivity training to hiring more minority teachers to curricula changes.  But some students see this episode not as a cover for an attempt to impose a leftist agenda of more hiring quotas, more speech codes, more politically correct indoctrination.  Andy Morales, Sophmore economics major at St. Olaf's, spoke to Jennifer Anju Grossman on how the real problem on campus isn't a lack of ethnic and gender diversity -- but rather a lack of intellectual diversity.  Hear his account of a campus in crisis -- and the left's attempt to use it to their advantage.
