Why is it so difficult to sit down and meditate? Or do that 20 minutes of Yoga or Tai Chi practice, Or even take a few sips of water that we know will refresh us. Today I talked about why it is so difficult to meditate or just be with yourself. When it comes to activities that increase our health and happiness; it seems most of us throw the towel in so quickly. What is it that makes us feel so uncomfortable? I explain mental chatter (the clutter of the mind), the pain body, and the Ego, what it is and how it affects us. We have a concept that we need to sit in a quiet room for an hour to really meditate, but in truth we can feel more connected in a single breath and truly be happier.
