Michigan House Representative Fred Durhal, Jr. (D-District 6) will be the featured guest on our September 1st @ 8PM podcast on Reach Out Job Search Radio. Subjects to be discussed include the now signed law by Governor Rick Snyder (R) H.B. 4409, which imposes a strict 48 month limit to assistance programs.

Up to 12K women and children will lose programs that can keep them out of homlessness or worse, on October 1st. Is this a fair way to handle the states financial woes while corporations received $1.5 billion dollars worth of tax cuts?

Additionally we will discuss Public Act #4, Emergency Financial Manager act giving, the state Treasurer and any School Superintendent in section 18 of the measure, the right to appoint any city, charter township, village, school board or county a Emergency Financial Manager, to act as the sole decision making authority. Call into the show to express if you agree or disagree with P.A. #4 and why?

Discuss all of these measures and other hot button Michigan Politics issues during our weekly program.

Host Monica R-W is an owner/writer for the popular ROJS News website, an experienced grassroots and elected local political leader. As a lifelong Michigander, both Monica RW brings research, knowledge and Independent opinions to the issues of the day.
