Charlotte Black Film Festivial (CBFF)
Please join Divas Boss Lady as she interviews Tommy Nichols who is the CEO of Glorified Media (GM); a media marketing and management company that creates and manage media based assets. Under GM umbrella is The Charlotte Black Film Festival, Tommy Filmworks, an innovative film, and event video production company.
For the fourth year the Charlotte Black Film Festival (CBFF) will screen three days of independent films that express the African American experience. It all happens Feb 27th – Mar 1st during the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) basketball tournament. Since relocating this event to Charlotte, it has drawn over 80,000 people from across the country into the downtown and surrounding areas and will serve as the backdrop for this year’s festival.
There mission is to create economic empowerment for, heighten awareness of, promote the significance and need for African American cinema as an art form, and to be a voice for independent filmmakers of color.
