House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said he got "98 percent" of what he wanted in the final deal to raise the debt ceiling.

"When you look at this final agreement that we came to with the White House, I got 98 percent of what I wanted. I'm pretty happy," Boehner said in an interview with CBS News on Monday evening. Aug,1, 2011.

"This final agreement" is the sequester bill, which is now due to go into effect on March 1, just one week from today.  This will cause over 700,000 Americans to lose their jobs and put the economy into a tail spin.

Now Boehner is blaming the President for the bill.  Hey John, why don’t you do your job!  Instead of sending Congress home on recess while there is a crisis of your making, ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES AND GET TO WORK!

My question is, who wants to take down the US economy and the Federal Government?

Another topic, "Rick Scott Joins Other GOP Governors in Approving Obama's Medicaid Expansion."  Florida Governor Rick Scott today announced that he'd be participating in the federal expansion of Medicaid that was included in Obamacare.  Rick Scott's administration was one of the original states to sue the Obama Administration in the wake of Obamacare, arguing that key provisions of the law were unconstitutional impositions on the states.
