Hello Everyone!!

I switched blogs sites, yes indeed, I sure did. Long story that I can't seem to make short lol. But I'm back in action with more good news. Yay!! Alot of you know i've been trying to open my own animal shelter, but for those of you who don't know, its true. I had a minor set back, its definitely harder then I thought, and is definitely going to cost me more than I had planned. I'm going to open the shelter as a non-profit organization. I'll be sheltering; cats, dogs, rabbits and maybe birds, not really sure on that 1. I already have my adoption fee pricings; cats $30, kittens $35, dogs $40, puppies $50 and rabbits $15. Like I said the birds I haven't really decided, that idea is still flying. There will NOT be any breed restrictions at the shelter, I don't even think i've heard of such, but someone asked. I have a site thats in progress but of course it wont be up until after the shelter has opened. As I stated before there was a set back, I was trying to have it open by the middle of 2010, but as we know, money isnt coming easy this year. So, the new plan is to have it up by 2011, I have jus about everything taken care of, jus need location and some more paper work, oh yea and money lol. I'm focused more than ever now though, I'm in school for veterinary assistant, trying to get some of that knowledge behind me lol. Ill prolly end up working in an animal hospital or clinic of course. I have always dreamed of working with animals, and its finally coming true. Yes, I have finally came to my senses on that whole wild life center thing I was talking about a while back, yea thats not gonna work. Lol I was dreamin' hard back then, I love tigers but raising them, not happenin'. The experience and knowledge i'll be getting from school and on the field will help me so much with the shelter. I have my head on straight, and my mind focused, I will keep you guys posted and thank you for your questions and concerns. I'm so excited!! lol when I know something you guys will to. Someone even asked me to let them know when I get some puppies in, that really made my day and gave me some motivation. Gotta go, Later!!
