Our scheduled guest, Andrea Hangst of Bleacher Report, has rescheduled to next Tuesday, so today, we bring you a potpourri of news from around the NFC North and the rest of the world. If you are wanting to stay informed on all things "Black and Blue," be sure to tune in. You won't walk away feeling empty.

The Green Bay Packers were named the top team in the Associated Press's first-ever Pro32 power rankings of NFL teams. The AP has promised to update the rankings every week through the 2012 season, so it will be interesting to see if the team that went 15-1 in the regular season last year will have the staying power to hold onto their perch atop the poll -- or if they will be forced to relinquish their crown to another team.

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was hospitalized briefly yesterday after experiencing an allergic reaction to seafood during a catered lunch. Inquiring minds want to know how his allergy was never detected before yesterday.

The Detroit Lions still cannot seem to get everything together. Running back Jahvid Best remains sidelined with concussion issues, a fact that brings general manager Martin Mayhew no small amount of consternation. Meanwhile, retired running back Barry Sanders claims he does not blame the Lions' coaching staff for their personnel problems, because he says it's not their job to babysit their players. What will it take to get the Lions train back on the right track?

We'll talk about all these issues and more -- so hop on in!
